Cut from plastic into leaf shapes, these beauties are whimsiically painted with enamels on the back side, using different shades of golden stardust, + burgundy, with the green detail painted on the front. I cut the shapes from a single-use clear plastic food container, of purchased food products, which has been washed and sterilized (image 7). Re-Use and reduce my friends. These measure approx. 1-1/8”W x 2-1/2” Tall from top of hook to bottom dangle. Hooks are shaped from 20 gauge black craft wire and the tail measures approx. 2” long. Bottom dangle is a sweet golden/bronze fresh water “coin” pearl, approx. 7/16” in diameter. It is added using a 22 gauge antique copper colored craft wire forged and twirled at the bottom.
