Channel your ancient Bohemian Groove baby! These leaf shaped earrings are whimsically painted with enamels on the back side, using different shades of purples. I have embellished the front side with pearlescent enamel paint daubs and streaks. The leaf shapes of these earrings are cut from a single-use clear plastic food container, of a purchased food product, which has been washed and sterilized (image 10). Re-Use and reduce my friends. These measure approx. 1”W x 2-1/2” Tall from top of hook to bottom dangle. Hooks are shaped from 20 gauge black craft wire and the tail measures approx. 1-1/4” long. Bottom dangle is a small clear round faceted crystal topped by a lavender teardrop shaped faceted crystal bead. Both are added using a 22 gauge antique copper colored craft wire, forged and twirled at the end. These are extremely light weight and sparkle divinely with reflected light !
