My wing earrings are super light weight! These feature actual cicada wings from my “found bug” collection. They are ever so lightly sealed to preserve their delicate nature.

These cicada wings have beautiful green/amber veining and are embellished with a 1/4” fresh water pearl at top, and a clear, palest blue, heart shaped faceted crystal bead at tips. The wings flitter beautifully and reflect light like crazy. I have cut + shaped the hooks (image 3), which measure approx. 1+1/4” L, from antique copper colored craft wire to evoke cicada legs. Earrings measure approx. 3” long from top of hook to bottom dangle. And are almost 3/4”W. Buy my wearable nature art and rock the world!

NOTE: I find all cicada and dragonfly wings after each insect’s natural life span, on the ground, while gardening, or while out in nature. CARDBOARD MODELS ARE LIFE SIZED.
