These butterfly wing earrings are SUPER light weight and feature the underside of the forewing of this species, whose pattern and colors are strikingly beautiful and range from golden yellow, touches of lavender, chartreuse, burgundy, charcoal, marine blue, white and culminate in an “eye” design towards the fringed edge. Hanging from the bottom of each wing is a dangle compoised of a small square, aqua colored craft bead and a elongated glass dangle of sea green with flecks of gold. These measure approx. 1+1/8”W and 3-1/8”T from top of hook to bottom dangle. The hooks are shaped and cut from an antique copper colored craft wire and measure approx. 1” long (to evoke butterfly legs/antennae).

NOTE: All butterflies were gathered for me by my friendly neighborhood insectarium, after each insect’s natural life span. CARDBOARD MODELS ARE LIFE SIZED.
