My butterfly wing earrings are super light weight! Real butterfly wings are set between (clever reuse) of single-use plastics (image 8). This pair features two different species. Colors range: iridescent creamy lavender, brown, near black, rusty orange, pale greens and cream.

Overall earring dimensions approx. 1+3/8”W and 2+3/4”T from top of hook to bottom dangle. The hooks are shaped and cut from antique copper colored craft wire and measure approx. 1+1/8” long to evoke butterfly legs/antennae (image 5).

NOTE: All butterflies were gathered for me by my friendly neighborhood insectarium, after each insect’s natural life span. CARDBOARD MODELS ARE LIFE SIZED.
