My butterfly wing earrings are super light weight! Real butterfly wings are set between (clever reuse) of single-use plastics (image 9). This pair features the forewings of a single species. Colors range: velvety near black with a pair of orange dots. Reverse side colors are ochre, brown and camel.

Overall earring dimensions approx. 7/8”W and 2T from top of hook to bottom dangle. The hooks are shaped and cut from antique copper colored craft wire and measure approx. 1” long to evoke butterfly legs/antennae (image 5).

NOTE: All butterflies were gathered for me by my friendly neighborhood insectarium, after each insect’s natural life span. CARDBOARD MODELS ARE LIFE SIZED.
