These butterfly wing earrings are light weight and feature the top side of the fore-wing. The pattern and colors are strikingly beautiful and range from golden yellow, touches of lavender, burgundy, charcoal, marine blue, white and an eye towards the fringed edge. The wings are secured between clear single-use plastic, cut from single-use food containers, of purchased food products, which have been washed and sterilized (see image 9). Re-Use & reduce my friends. Buy thisit.me wearable nature art!

Hanging from the bottom of each wing is a “coin” freshwater pearl. These earrings measure approx. 1+1/4”W and 3-1/8”T from top of hook to bottom dangle. The hooks are shaped and cut from an antique copper colored craft wire and measure approx. 1-1/2” long (to evoke butterfly legs/antennae).

NOTE: All butterflies were gathered for me by my friendly neighborhood insectarium, after each insect’s natural life span. CARDBOARD MODELS ARE LIFE SIZED.
