Macramé Me

Macramé Me

$120.00

Here's a story... I created this piece in 2005. Subsequently, along comes Hurricane Katrina and the flooding aftermath in New Orleans. This piece was salvaged from our flooded home by my sisters. There is a slight bit of discoloration, which you can see in view 5. It took many years after the storm before I had the desire to create again.

I macraméd this with Sailor's, natural cotton waxed whipcord. The Black rock I found off the coast of Washington State. There are wooden craft beads with painted hibiscus flowers and black glass beads from an old strand of broken Mardi Gras Beads. Wear a bit of history.
