Dangling from a luscious red leather strap are four cowrie shell, salvaged from a thrift store find. Six copper infinity beads (six is a healing number!) are wound onto the strap between with shiny brass craft wire. The pendant is an oyster shell found off the coast of Ile De Ré, France that I have layered with a hammered spiral infinity shape, from 16 gauge craft wire, and an added cowrie shell. The back fastener is self looped from the leather strap and secured with 21 gauge craft wire. A cowrie shell slides through loop to fasten. Tiny infinity spirals are also stamped all along the leather strap. (see detail 4).
