Hiking along the roadside I found a wonderfully distressed, flattened metal binder clip…which is the genesis for this creation.

Ingedients: Discarded road-time distressed office relic

(image 8), honey locust tree thorns (image 10), antique copper colored and bright brass colored craft wire, vintage Mardi Gras beads, salvaged and purchased supplies, leathershoelace cord.

Metal Clip measures approx. 1+1/4”W x 3+1/2” L, from top pincer to bottom pincher. Thorns are approx. 2”L. The sharpest edges have been clipped and filed down. Large center turquoise colored bead is 3/4” square and is attached to clip with wire.

Necklace slips on over head. The red cord is adjustable by way of sliding knots on either side. Maximum circumference is approx. 23” . Can be worn longer or as a choker.
